At the beginning of November 2006, a questionnaire was sent to all those who had added a Partner Search Request to the ManagEnergy website during the previous 12 months (approximately 180 requests). The purpose of the Questionnaire was to evaluate the Partner Search service provided by ManagEnergy this year and assist us in meeting the needs of local and regional energy actors.
63 replies were received and the results are presented in below.
Overall the results were very positive with almost 85% rating the Partner Search Service as "Useful" (40%) or "Very Useful" (45%). In addition, 80% of those who submitted a proposal for the latest IEE call found partners via ManagEnergy. This indicates that ManagEnergy is fulfilling its remit of supporting local and regional energy action in finding partners for EC-funded projects and related other activities for local and regional energy action.
The key conclusions are:
Q1. How many enquiries have you received about your Partner Search Request?
90% of Partner Search Requests resulted in at least one enquiry, 50% resulted in more than 5 enquiries and 20% received more than 10 enquiries.
Q2a. Is your organisation included in a proposal in the latest IEE call?
70% of those completing Partner Search requests are involved in a proposal submitted in the most recent Intelligent Energy - Europe (IEE) call.
Q2b. If YES - did project partners come from ManagEnergy partner search services?
Q2c. If YES - did project partners come via other services offered by ManagEnergy?
Of those that have submitted a proposal, 80% found partners using ManagEnergy services; 75% found partners directly from the Partner Search service; 55% found partners via other ManagEnergy services.
Q3. Did you find out about the latest IEE call from the ManagEnergy website?
More than 50% found out about the latest IEE call from the ManagEnergy website or newsletter.
Q4. How would you rate the Partner Services offered by ManagEnergy?
Around 45% rated the ManagEnergy Partner Search Service as "Very Useful".
More than 50% rated the ManagEnergy Partner Search Service as "Useful" or "OK".
Less than 5% rated the ManagEnergy Partner Search Service as "Not Useful".
