Summary
The Agencia Provincial de la Energía de Huelva has organised workshops in eighteen municipalities in the province of Huelva. The main objectives of the project were to disseminate information on end-use energy efficiency and on social related aspects including lower energy bills. The target sectors were neighbourhood resident associations, association of women and housewives. The technologies used in the workshops included energy efficient lights, a demonstrative system of energy consumption and a solar lamp. Informative leaflet and customized questionnaires for the domestic sector were also developed. The main source of funding has been the Diputación of Huelva and the Energy Agency.
Results
The results of this project have been very satisfactory.
426 persons in the 18 municipalities where the workshops took place attended the workshops. The evaluation found out that the participants have changed their attitudes as regards efficient use of energy.
