The Energy and Climate Agency of Podravje (ENERGAP) is hosting a small Signing Ceremony for Slovenian mayors, in Maribor, Slovenia on the 10th of June, 2022.
Slovenian mayors from 12 Municipalities, from the Podravje region will sign the commitment document of the Covenant of Mayors – Europe and join the Community. The Energy and Climate Agency of Podravje (ENERGAP) is happy to welcome them all.
Signatories commit to reaching climate neutrality by 2050, implementing adaptation to climate change measures and alleviating energy poverty through a transition. They also commit to engaging their citizens, businesses and local stakeholders in the transition.
The Municipalities which are adhering to the Covenant of Mayors-Europe are: Municipality of Hoče-Slivnica, Municipality of Ruše, Municipality of Miklavž na Dravskem polje, Municipality of Poljčane, Municipality of Benedikt, Municipality of Selnica ob Dravi, Municipality of Radlje ob Dravi, Municipality of Lovrenc na. Municipality of Ribnica na Pohorju, Municipality of Apače, Municipality of Vuzenica and Municipality of Muta.
